Prestige visited Brindley Place, Birmingham to carry out restoration works to this large solid oak plank floor on a newly refurbished restaurant. Our client requested the floor to be stained in a very dark walnut colour and finished in a matt durable finish.

To achieve the desired dark walnut hue, we carefully applied a specialised wood stain that penetrates the wood, enhancing its natural beauty. The matt finish allows the natural grain and texture of the oak to shine through while creating a sophisticated atmosphere within the restaurant.
