American Black Walnut Floor, Gayton

In the picturesque village of Gayton, Prestige undertook a comprehensive restoration project on an existing American Black Walnut floor, which had endured years of exposure to sunlight, resulting in a faded and worn appearance. Seeking to restore its original splendour, the owners enlisted the services of Prestige, to bring the floor back to life.

The works consisted of fully removing an existing sun bleached finish, applying a coat of hard wax oil, lightly sanding back, and once dry, applying a final coat of flatt matt hard wax oil, ensuring an even and consistent appearance.
